Coming directly after the September release of his debut album, Kid Cudi announced that he was already working on his next album. He was said to be working on this new album with plans of releasing it before the end of 2010. Due to the success that he experienced in 2009, he has the full support of his label, GOOD Music.
Initially, he said that this album would be entitled Cudder. But, as he has recorded more and more material for the album, he has decided that this is no longer a fitting title. Recently, he had a meltdown about the ills of the industry and he sounded off. This happened while he was performing in Myrtle Beach, SC at the House of Blues.
With his new state of mind, Kid Cudi has changed the title of his album from simply Cudder to Cudder and The Evolution of Revolution. The new album does not have a set release date or any promo singles. As the year progresses into February and March, some more details should be released about the album. The only confirmation is a collaboration with Kanye West.
Cudder and The Evolution of Revolution should be released sometime in 2010 on GOOD Music and Universal Motown.
