During the summer of 2008, DJ Khaled was named as president of Def Jam South. Ever since he took over at the label, it has become the strongest component of the Def Jam label. He has no plans of slowing down in 2010, either. Last year was one of the best years in Def Jam South history and Khaled plans for this to be the best year period.
No longer is DJ Khaled a Terror Squad artist. While he remains a member of the crew, he will release Victory this year on Def Jam South. This will be the first release from Def Jam South in 2010. Following his solo release will be the highly-anticipated fourth album from Rick Ross in the album, Teflon Don.
Other releases from Def Jam South will include two albums from Ludacris, an album from Young Jeezy, Ace Hood, and many more.
