Drake nabs Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Young Jeezy for “Thank Me Later” debut

5 Dec

Already Grammy-nominated, Drake is gearing up for the release of his debut album, Thank Me Later. The hype from his So Far Gone mixtape has already made him into a star. But, with his album only months away, Drake is trying to hype things up.

The last time that he spoke on the album, Drake bragged that his lyrical ability is better than what it was when he released his mixtape. His album is expected to sell very well, due to his being on the same label as Lil Wayne. People are expecting a great performance from Drake, himself, but the Canadian rapper is also getting people ready for the guests.

Aside from the announced collaborations with The-Dream and Lil Wayne, this album will also feature appearances from Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Young Jeezy. All of these artists have been working with Drake on earlier projects and they all feel that there is something special about the Young Money rapper.

While there is something special about his talent, Universal Records still pushed his album back. Thank Me Later is currently set for release in March 2010 on Young Money, Cash Money, and Universal Records.
