Lil Boosie violates Probation

Lil BoosieEarlier this year, Lil Boosie was sentenced to a one-year prison stint. After the sentencing, he was given probation time, but he has violated that. The final result is a three-year extention on that one year in prison.

Now, Lil Boosie is set to have a four-year sentence in prison. In light of this new sentence, Boosie said that in return, the people will receive a more motivated emcee. He said that for next year, he is going to release an album called, Free at Last.

Initially, the rapper was sentenced to ten years of prison. Under the plea deal, only two and a half of the years would be served by Lil Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch. However, since he has violated his probation, he has been sentenced to serve only four of the ten years.

Behind bars, or out to the public, Lil Boosie said that he turned his album into Warner Bros. Records on November 9 and he hopes that it will be released before the end of 2010.
