Shyne finally speaks on Prison Time

3 Nov

ShyneWhile promising not to make any excuses for his past mistakes, Shyne has taken full responsibility for his time behind bars. For the past eight, nearly nine, years, Shyne has been in prison. Many think that he took the fall for Sean Combs.

For a long time, Shyne also blamed Combs because the two have been feuding ever since 2001. Back in September, Sean Combs said that the two had been talking over the phone and everything was good between them.

That statement struck many as odd because of how upset Shyne had been at Combs over the years. Only days after he made those comments, Shyne came out to deny that he had ever spoken with Sean. It is unclear who was telling the truth, but after Shyne spoke against Combs, he was deported.

Moving past the issues with Sean Combs, Shyne said that he is not going to build any excuses for himself. He said that President Obama has not made any excuses for himself, nor has New York governor, David Paterson. Because of that, there is no reason for him to begin making excuses.

Instead of making excuses for his mistakes, he needs to build from those mistakes in order to grow as a person. Briefly speaking on his music, Shyne said that his new music will focus on real life issues.

It is a shame about what happened to Shyne. I believe that he was framed by Sean Combs and was sent to prison for a crime that he did not commit. If that were not the case, he would have never been so upset with Combs. Also, I believe that Combs had him deported. Think about it, Combs said that they were talking to each other and there was no feud. Shyne denies those charges, then the next day he is about to be deported.
