Birdman speaks on Lil Wayne’s Conviction

BabyCash Money Records CEO, Bryan “Birdman” Williams, is now speaking out on the conviction of his franchise player, Lil Wayne. On October 22, 2009, Lil Wayne plead guilty to gun charges and he faces up to a year in prison because of that.

When asked about the situation, Birdman said that the Cash Money family will continue to support Lil Wayne as he goes through this tough situation. As he explained to, Birdman said that he has worked with Wayne since his teenage years and he has watched him grow into what he is, now.

The conviction of Lil Wayne has caused many rappers to speak out. Even hip hop attorney, Scott Leemon has spoken on the issue. Lil Wayne’s ex-wife, Toya Carter, pleaded for fans and media to continue to support him as he serves his crime.
