Chamillionaire discusses 50 Cent beef

20 Oct

ChamillionaireIn promotion of his last album, 2007’s Ultimate Victory, Chamillionaire decided that he was going to become a “clean” rapper. This came after the Don Imus controversy and pleas from Russell Simmons and Master P.

At the time, 50 Cent was also promoting his 2007 album, Curtis. He was asked if he would take a cue from Chamillionaire and stop cursing in his lyrics. What 50 said went along the lines of him being a hardcore rapper and not a gospel performer.

While avoiding mentioning Russell Simmons, 50 Cent dissed Chamillionaire and Master P. Somewhere after his Mike Jones feud, Chamillionaire decided to become a non-confrontational rapper and he ignored 50 Cent’s jabs and went about making his music.

Now, two years after the fact Chamillionaire is talking about the possible feud. There was not anything complex about why Cham did not take on 50 Cent, he has looked at 50’s track record and his record alone, in 2007. The little bit of a career that he has, he did not want to lose it in a 50 Cent feud.

According to Chamillionaire, 50 Cent has ended a lot of careers, but his was not going to be one of them.
