Papoose has big News

8 Oct

PapooseA few years ago, Papoose was looking poised to take over the rap game. He, along with Saigon, was on many “who’s got next,” columns in hip hop-related websites.

Just like Saigon, Papoose received multiple push-backs for his debut album, The Nacirema Dream. The album was initially due back in 2006 in a venture between DJ Kayslay’s Streetsweepers Ent. and Busta Rhymes’ Flipmode Entertainment.

Eventually, his album was pushed back to 2007, then it was scrapped and forgotten. Soon, Pap returned to the mixtape scene, feuding with Uncle M and Fat Joe. Now, Papoose is back and still pushing his debut album.

It has been four years, but Papoose is still preparing to release The Nacirema Dream. He recently talked about his return to the rap game, saying that people in his situation usually end up releasing their debut albums through Koch or Babygrande, but he plans on doing something different with his album.

Now, Papoose’s debut album, The Nacirema Dream, is set to be released in early to mid 2010.
