Ne-YoAs of late, 50 Cent has been changing things up. It has been said that he needs to change his music up some and 50 has done just that.

He recorded a song, “Baby By Me,” earlier this year and it built an underground buzz. Now, for the remix, he decided to recruit an R&B singer for a rare 50 Cent duet.

Initially, 50 Cent called on R. Kelly, who provided a chorus, but he later decided to call on Ne-Yo. It came as a shock for the regular hip hop fans and to Ne-Yo himself.

Ne-Yo said that when he received the track that he felt it was great already. The singer described the subject as hot and the Polow da Don beat as hot, along with the lyrics.

He continues to say that 50 Cent did the heavy lifting on this track. Ne-Yo states that all that he had to do was add to the hotness of the record. The song was released to radio on September 10, 2009.

The song recently reached number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100.
