Snoop DoggSnoop Dogg is currently in the studio crafting his tenth studio album, Malice n Wonderland. Initially, the album was supposed to be released late last year, but Snoop has changed labels.

For this new album, Snoop Dogg is working with Lil Jon, Brandy, Pharrell, Jazmine Sullivan, Problem, and Nipsey Hustle, aside from the above mentioned artists.

Throughout his career, Gucci Mane was seen as a southern rapper still searching for that one hit. This summer, he found it and he has had featured verses on some of the most popular music in 2009. Snoop Dogg has kept a watchful eye on the music industry in his time away.

The last time that Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly came together for a song, it resulted in the top 20 hit, “That’s That Shit.” The song became an anthem, of sorts in late 2006 and returned Snoop Dogg to the top of the game. He is hoping to re-create that magic with his latest album.

When Soulja Boy first emerged in the game, in 2007, Snoop Dogg was amongst his most vocal critics. Once Soulja Boy proved that he had staying power, he won over most of his critics. Earlier this month, he officially won Snoop over. For his past comments, Snoop Dogg apologized and now, the rap veteran and the fresh blood are collaborating in hopes of making something new.

Snoop Dogg has a fresh, creative, mix with this new album to finally break through to the new, young, audience with this album. Malice n Wonderland is expected to be released sometime in December 2009.
