Beanie Sigel talks Jay-Z, Roc-A-Fella, and “Blueprint 3”

Beanie SigelIn a recent interview with Jenny Boom Boom, Beanie Sigel spoke on a lot of things. Upon the things he discussed were Jay-Z issues, mainly T-Pain, the current state of Roc-A-Fella Records, and The Blueprint 3.

When asked about working with Jay-Z, Beans spoke about a possible future collaboration with Jay. Then, the conversation shifted from Jay-Z to comparing American Gangster to The Blueprint 3.

Sigel said that despite only getting as far as the intro on the album, he feels that The Blueprint 3 is much better than American Gangster, as an album. Beanie Sigel appeared on “Ignorant Sh*t” on the album. He spoke on his leaked tracks, stating that he was paid for the leak and decided to turn the tracks into a mixtape.

As the conversation progressed, he was asked about his current dealings with former members of the Roc. Beans stated that all was good between him and the former dynasty. Boom Boom eventually asked Sigel about the recent comments from T-Pain about Jay-Z. He referred to the comments as “ignorand” and “something that you don’t do.” But, he made sure to stay away from entering the issue, himself.

Jenny Boom Boom stated that she met a rapper at a recent performance that said he was with Roc-A-Fella Records. She gave the man a shout out, then the DJ informed her that Roc-A-Fella Records is no longer in existance. When she asked Beanie Sigel about the label, he said that in his mind there will always be a Roc-A-Fella Records, but he does not know if the label physically exists, anymore.

When asked about Dame Dash, he made it clear that he had never left Roc-A-Fella Records until now and that he harbors no hard feelings towards Dash, but he once did.

Currently, Beanie Sigel is trying to begin working on an album and finding a new label home. Aside from that, he is creating a film company and working on State Property 3.
