Jay-Z Responds to T-Pain diss

8 Sep

Jay-ZT-Pain’s anti-Jay-Z rally has caught up to the former CEO of the Roc. In an interview with “The Ed Lover Show,” Jay-Z explained that he talked with T-Pain and told the singer that the song was not aimed at him.

T-Pain feels that Jay-Z is too old to dictate the flow of hip hop. Pain said that even though rappers are trying to sound like him, he has not declared that rap is dead.

In a way, that was what Jay-Z was trying to get across with his song. He was pointing out that rappers are singing and using too much auto-tune. Initailly, T-Pain said that auto-tune was not dead, for him, and he performed with Jay-Z on stage.

This may be a simple misunderstanding of words or T-Pain promoting his latest album, UBER. Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 was released today and is expected to debut at number one.
